We used a boring February morning to go through tons of boring data and came up with some interesting figures. We collected the trends of 2014 from our blog and online shop and created 5 categories for bikes that stand out. So here comes the Top 5 Best Bikes of 2014:
1. The Best Seller of the Year
Ranger has proven to be the most popular pick last year despite the shortage in sizes which where obviously caused by a popular demand. We are yet to find out if State Bicycle Co. is to continue the distribution of this bike in Europe or is it going to be replaced with another model but meanwhile we still have some small sizes left for grabs.
2. The Best Newcomer of 2014
Undefeated has been acclaimed as one of the best bikes in it's price range on the market and very good value for the money. It is widely used as an amateur track bike and by some is the best choice for the road. The 2015 Undefeated is even more striking with it's design and certainly is hard to resist.
3. The Best Deal Of The Season
The best deal of the season must go to Foffa Bikes and their 2014 Single Speed collection. With a launch at the beginning of the last year they have proven to be very reliable and also have been promoting their products with some attractive discounts during the year. You can still get all bikes from Foffa's 2014 collection with 25% off.
4. The Best Choice on Budget
Quella Bicycle from Cambridge created the Varsity collection to compete on the budget bikes and they have done it successfully. In our top Varsity takes an important place for those who don't want to break the bank but still desire a good quality ride. Quella headquarters proudly can offer this budget bike with some Great British Cycling traditions.
5. The Best of the Premium
Premiere components, carbon fiber fork, and SRAM100 track crank. The Contender makes for a road-dominating cruiser and the perfect canvas for any rider entering the competitive world of fixed gear/single-speed track racing. Well deserves the spot.
