Have you heard about Polo and Bike?!
Well, then you’re in for a treat! Today I’d like to take a close up look at Polo and Bike, a new bike brand that we just started carrying and you should too. But, you know, on your shoulder or bike rack or something.
Either way you need to see these awesome designs to believe them, and this time while you’re ogling the bike (we all do it) you can actually look at the pricing too without feeling sick. They are incredibly well priced, ranging from just 360 - 588 GPB, it’s a designer bike that you don’t have to save up for a year to buy.

The bikes in the ‘Williamsburg’ line come with unbelievable performance parts, each one is made of aerospace grade aluminium that make each bike light and speedy. To counter the stiffer ride that aluminium is known for, they also all come with carbon forks which cut down further on weight and provide a more enjoyable ride.
Although you might check out the edger ‘CMDR’ bikes instead of the more laid back ‘Williamsburg’ which offer an even smoother ride with 4130 CroMo Steel, as well as being built for speed with an aggressive triangle geometry. The ‘CMDR’ line, as with all of the Polo and Bike, also comes with a carbon fork standard. And when a carbon fork alone can set you back a few hundred pounds at some retailers, you can really see the value that Polo and Bike have built into their pricing.

Call me superficial, but what makes the Polo and Bike one of my favourite new brands is their hot new designs. Polo and Bike are from Spain, and we all know what kind of awesome designs come out of Spain. Just look at the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, or Orbea Bikes, another native Spanish brand known for it’s killer designs. While Orbea specialise in a more sleek and curvy design, Polo and Bike have a much more modern, edgy geometric design. Both of these Spanish brands make beautiful bikes, to be sure, but Orbea’s cost almost 10 times as much as Polo and Bike. Polo and Bike allow the every man to stop drooling over those beautiful Spanish designed bikes and actually be able to hop on and ride one.
We’ve picked the ‘CMDR’ and ‘Williamsburg’ models to carry as we think these two track bikes offer the widest range of options as well as pricing for our customers. They are also some of our favourite designs out of all of the lines - the ‘CMDR’ having a shorter, slanted top tube and aggressive geometry put you in that area position that make it a speedy little devil that’s fun to ride. It’s hard not to be a speed demon when you’re sitting on the ‘CMDR’. The slightly more expensive ‘Williamsburg’ offers a bit less of an aggressive stance, with a very classic, tried-and-true track design offers just a quick of a ride and in all the style you’d expect from a bike named after one of the hippest neighbourhoods in New York City, if not the world.
That said, there are other design lines that Polo and Bike have put out. For those of you that really like to beat up on your bike, find off road paths, and get down and dirty, there’s the ‘Savage CX’ that is a bit more rugged than the other models. They also have the ‘Commander’ which is the predecessor of ‘CMDR’. It has a more classic track design and a curved seat post that puts you in position to give it your all. The latest of the Polo and Bike lines is the ‘Greyhound’ which is the lightest of all their bikes, weighing right around 7.5 Kg the frame is hand made in Italy from classic Columbus steel and it is a performance bike with a traditional track design that will fly down the street and look great doing it. The ‘Greyhound’ is generally more expensive than the other lines and will be available for general public later this year.

No matter your style you can’t deny the beauty of the Spanish designed bikes, and we’re very happy to bring to our customers beautiful design backed by a beautiful price tag. And I think I mentioned they all come with carbon forks standard - score!
